BEWARE OF COPPER-COATED COPIES

Many "copper" bottles sold online are actually steel or aluminum with a thin copper coating, or hide a plastic liner inside. They look the same in photos, but your water never touches real copper. FeelNorva.com is the only official place to buy the original Norva bottle: solid 99.9% pure copper, inside and out, with a purity certificate in every box.

What brings you to copper?

Choose the one closest to your situation and see where a copper water ritual comes in. Short and clear.

Stiff, sore joints

Usually noticed after about a month
  1. 1 · What's happening Everyday inflammation adds up unnoticed

Processed food, too little water and constant contact with plastics all feed a steady inflammatory burden, and joints tend to register it before anything else.

  2. 2 · Where copper fits Copper powers a key antioxidant enzyme

Your body needs copper to build superoxide dismutase (SOD), one of its main tools for clearing the free radicals linked to inflammation.

  3. 3 · The ritual A morning glass, every day

Drink water that has rested in copper overnight before you eat anything. Joints are slow to respond; most people notice a change after roughly four weeks.

Canadians are making the switch. Join them.

All Those Pills, and You Still Don't Feel Better?

Maybe your morning starts with a handful of capsules. A shelf full of bottles, a few hundred dollars gone every month. And somehow, nothing really changes.

Here's what most people never consider: the missing piece might not be another supplement. It might be the copper your body gets too little of, and the plastic bottle you sip from all day long.

What's Really in the Water You Drink All Day?

If you're over 50, you've likely been drinking from plastic for most of your adult life. Bottled water, the office cooler, the reusable bottle you refill every morning.

And tiny plastic particles end up in that water. Research shows that the average canadian consumes around 11 pounds from drinking water alone

Plastic can release chemicals like BPA and phthalates into what you drink. Stainless steel picks up fine scratches over time, the kind of spots where bacteria like to settle.

Copper works differently. It keeps the water stored inside it clean, with no filters, coatings or chemicals, just pure copper. It's the same metal some hospitals now use on surfaces patients touch every day.

Is Copper Safe To Drink From?

Yes, and the numbers back it up. Health Canada sets the safe limit for copper in drinking water at 2 mg/L. In a published study, water kept in a copper pot for 16 hours contained about 0.18 mg/L, more than 10x below that limit.

That's why some hospitals install copper surfaces: copper is naturally antimicrobial AND safe for everyday use. Your body NEEDS copper, about 0.9 mg a day for adults. Too little can leave you tired, achy and run-down. Many people don't get enough.

My Nani Filled a Copper Pot Every Night. I Left It Behind.

Every night in Ludhiana, she filled a dented copper lota and set it on the windowsill. Every morning, before the chai, she poured each of us a small glass. Nobody asked why. It was simply how mornings began, the way Indian families have started the day for generations.

"Water should sleep in copper. Not in plastic."

In 1994 I moved to Canada with two suitcases. The lota stayed behind. For twenty-five years I forgot about it, until Nani passed and my cousin handed me a small cloth bundle. Inside was her lota, still dented, the rim dark with patina.

Ayurveda calls it tamra jal: water kept overnight in pure copper. Studies show copper keeps stored water clean, without filters, chemicals or electricity. Her lota now sits on my windowsill in Mississauga. This bottle is my way of bringing her ritual into your home.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I drink from copper every day?

Yes. Storing drinking water in copper is one of the oldest habits in Ayurveda. Fill the bottle in the evening, let it stand for 6 to 8 hours and drink it the next morning. Avoid keeping the same water in it for more than 12 hours.

Why does copper water taste a bit different?

That faint mineral note comes from the copper itself. Most people stop noticing it after a few days, and many end up liking it more. If it tastes too strong, let the water rest for a shorter time, around 4 to 6 hours.

How can I tell it's genuine copper and not a cheap imitation?

Try a magnet: copper does not attract magnets. Once your bottle arrives, hold a fridge magnet against it. If the magnet grabs on, there is steel underneath. If it falls away, you have real copper. Every bottle also comes with a certificate confirming 99.9% copper purity.

What's the best way to clean it?

Use lemon and salt. Dip half a lemon in salt, scrub the inside, then rinse. It only takes a minute. Repeat weekly, or whenever the copper starts to darken. That darker layer, called patina, is completely normal for real copper.

What if it's not for me?

Then send it back. Within 30 days of delivery you can send it back and we refund you in full, no explanation needed.

Is it okay to use for citrus water or hot tea?

Please don't. Acidic drinks such as citrus juice, lemon water or electrolyte mixes trigger a reaction in the copper that releases too much of it. Stick to plain water at room temperature or cooler. Warm water is okay; boiling water is not.
